CPI's Protests against Petroleum Price hike & Gas tragedy

By Our Staff ReporterBhopal, June 27: Communist Party of India, Bhopal district protested against the central government demanding the withdrawal from the sudden price rises in the petroleum products and to provide optimum monetary package to the victims of the Gas tragedy, here in the city on Sunday.The protest was in the form of a rally supported by "Transport Hammal Mazdoor Sabha" affiliated to the Party's labour wing AITUC, which began from Itwara and ended up in Itwara after it went a long march to the different places of the Capital. The rally was leaded by Party's Bhopal district Secretary Sailendra Sailly, comprising a large number of party supporters. During this protest the party activists demanded Maximum package for the gas victims as per the parameters set by the American State against the similar tragedy, Extradition of Anderson and providing harsh punishment, reestablishment of Bhopal Memorial Hospital and representation of the maximum victims, ensuring their Health, job and rehabilitation and withdrawal in the hike in the petroleum products.
