CPI ON RAILWAY ACCIDENT IN WEST BENGAL
The whole country is shocked and stunned at the horrendous accident that has taken place in the Jhargram area of West Midnapore district of West Bengal. The death toll is going up in every hour and it is expected to cross more than hundred with more than two hundred among injured.
The Communist Party of India expresses its deep sorrow and grief at the incident and conveys its condolences to the families of those who have died.
It is claimed that the terrific incident was caused due to the sabotage work of Maoists. A thorough probe must be conducted into the incident and the failure of the railway administration.
The incident has shown the callousness of the Railway Minister and the Railway authorities and their failure to provide safety to the passengers, particularly in the Maoist infested areas.
The Communist Party of India demands adequate compensation to the kith and kin of the dead. Railway administration must take full responsibility for the treatment of all those injured.
